The Nokia Siemens Networks STB Certification Program consists of a series of functional and unit tests intended to provide the assurance that operators require before deploying IP video services, or new devices into the field. Only Myrio-certified set-top boxes are marketed as the recommended solution for Nokia Siemens Networks Home Entertainment deployments. This process is recommended for every STB vendor looking to support Myrio software.

Nokia Siemens Networks certification is granted upon successful completion of the Myrio test processes. In some cases, unique circumstances may require more than one certification cycle. Such scenarios may be necessary in any number of situations such as unexpected set-top box component changes made during Myrio testing process (new chipsets for example) or where unique system applications, incorrect implementation of Myrio API's and other situations require additional testing.
