Myrio’s flexible and scalable solution enables Oneida Communications, LaHarpe, Mid Century, New Windsor, Reynolds, Viola, McDonough, and Woodhull to offer a triple-play bundle with advanced digital video services.

Established in January 2004, Western Illinois Video (WIV) is a consortium of eight Illinois based telephone companies and cooperatives committed to efficiently roll-out and offer advanced services to subscribers. By deploying the Myrio IP Video Platform, WIV is able to offer services such as video on demand (VOD), digital television, and web portal services. The Myrio IP Video Platform is built entirely on an extensible and customizable Java architecture, allowing the group of IOCs to deploy video services on various access providers equipment including Advanced Fiber Communications (AFCI), Net to Net Technologies, and Paradyne Networks Inc. (PDYN). WIV IOCs provide communication services to more than 10,000 homes and will be able to scale their video services to support all of their subscriber base.
