October 14, 2002Myrio Corporation Appoints Roger Moore to Board of Directors35-year information systems and telecommunications industry experience brings significant operating expertise and relationships to Myrio and its customers Kirkland, Wash. - Myrio Corporation, a leading provider of software technology that enables the delivery of Digital TV and advanced entertainment services over broadband networks, announced today that Roger H. Moore has been elected to the company’s Board of Directors. Moore was most recently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Illuminet Holdings from 1995 to 2001. Illuminet is the one of the nation's largest providers of SS7 network and database services to telecommunications carriers.Under his leadership the company experienced significant growth leading to a successful initial public offering (IPO) in October 1999. VeriSign Inc. (Nasdaq:VRSN) acquired Illuminet Holdings in December 2001 and Moore serves as a member of that company’s Board of Directors. Prior to Illuminet, and its acquisition by VeriSign, Moore spent 10 years with Nortel Networks (NYSE/TX: NT) in a variety of senior management positions including President of Nortel Japan. Moore also had a five-year career with AT&T (NYSE: T) including President of AT&T Canada from 1982 to 1985. “Roger’s broad ranging experience in the global telecommunications industry is a tremendous asset for Myrio.
