May 21, 2002Streaming Video Content from Reuters Added to Myrio’s Digital TV OfferingAccuWeather regional and local forecasts already available from Myrio Kirkland, WA - Myrio Corporation, the leading provider of software technology that enables the delivery of Digital TV and advanced entertainment services over broadband networks has entered into an agreement with Reuters (NASDAQ: RTRSY), the global news, information and technology group, to provide premium streaming media financial and entertainment video news to its network operator customers. The Reuters addition complements news headlines, weather reports and daily horoscopes already available through Myrio’s license with AccuWeather®, the leading provider of Internet weather forecasts, data, and graphics. The AccuWeather content offering includes five-day forecasts for 2,500 cities, localized forecasts, news headlines and horoscopes – all updated daily.Through the agreement, Myrio subscribers will be able to access Reuters two-minute streaming media news clips containing market and other business news, as well as the latest entertainment news through its customized TV portal. Reuters streaming media news clips are updated daily and delivered over Myrio’s RealNetworks’® RealPlayer® recently integrated into the Myrio software platform.
