Myrio Corp Releases Next Generation IP TV Software

Myrio 2.0 enables delivery of Digital TV, Video-on Demand and other enhanced entertainment services over broadband IP networks

The Myrio 2.0 release combines the strength of the company's carrier-class provisioning application (Total Manage) with the flexibility and user-friendliness of its client application (Myrio Interactive).

The deployment of the Myrio 2.0 software platform will enable existing and future customers to offer their subscribers advanced entertainment and communications options such as:

  • Unlimited number of digital TV channels, including local programming, premium channels and pay-per-view
  • Interactive program guide, with expanded search options
  • Commercial free music channels
  • Video-on-demand with VCR type controls (fast-forward, stop, play, etc)
  • Always-on, broadband Internet access to the TV
  • Easy access to Web-based content optimized for TV viewing
  • Advanced parental controls for TV and movie content

The Myrio 2.0 suite of products also includes advanced back-office features such as: subscriber provisioning, content management, TV line up management, service package management and software updates.
